The new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Minneapolis seeks a Hotel Manager to join our talented pre-opening team!
The Hotel Manager will provide leadership and management for all operational hotel personnel: directly for two key management personnel and indirectly for management, non-management personnel. Accepts responsibility for the health, safety and welfare of the hotel guests and employees. Be accountable for all personnel actions, assets, and personal property and the end results of their use. Represent the hotel to civic, business, industry and local government.
Key Requirement for this role:
•High energy and culture ambassador
•Balance product quality with tight cost management and deliver on profitability
•Rooms background strongly preferred to drive product, guest experience and business results
•Think like an entrepreneur and demonstrate strong leadership skills
•Adapt to local culture and expectations, immerse in the community
•Have trusted rapport with ownership and asset manager
•HM must be Guest Centric and visible throughout the Hotel
•Residential experience is a plus, ability to build string connections with residence owners is critical
General
•Strong EQ – key relationship management (internal, ownership, external active FS Brand representation)
•Ability to recognize and adapt to the fast-paced landscape in Minneapolis (culture, business practice, consumer / employee behavior, strong focus on local market)
•Strong leadership to maximize residential and office tenants capture in hotel outlets
•Pro active influencer of future direction of business, vision and product of the hotel
•Pre-opening or renovation – project management experience required

•Quick adaptability to take on a busy hotel team
•Manage a team with strong leadership skills in a union environment
•Ability to teach, coach, mentor and inspire a young team
•Pro active leadership style
•Build strong relationships in the community – both with partners like the local chef but also key community influencers
