General

Departmental
- To respond to any repair and maintenance requests with speed and with minimum disturbance.
- Answer all technical requests received by telephone with respect to the Four Seasons Standards.
- Dispatch if needed, check and handle work orders in a timely manner.
- Keep all equipment in good repair by providing the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management.
- Manage safety issues related to engineering system of the hotel timely.
- Hand over / Take-over of shift duties.
- Attend briefing and meeting of engineering, the other department meeting within engineering.
- All methods, materials and practices must meet and be in accordance with Four Seasons specification, national codes and standard practices.
- Follow Fire Fighting procedures in place in the Resort.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Comply with all departmental compliance requirements as set forth by Human Resources.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook.
- Specific Responsibilities and Tasks.
- Start standby condenser water pump for any Chiller system.
- Log of Substation system reading.
- Substation management.
- Handle the breakdown Kitchen equipment.
- Report irregularities.
- Log of utilities readings – HVAC System.
- Assist the Maintenance supervisor to plan and perform preventive maintenance for HVAC system in the Resort.
- Daily communication report.
- Responsible for Chiller Maintenance and proper running.
Special Requirements
- Certificate in the area of electronic, electrical, HVAC and mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in French/English languages.
- Must be service oriented and be able to maintain Four Seasons Hotel Standard at all times.
- Must be willing to perform shift work.
- Minimum five years’ experience as a HVAC Technician.
- Experience of one year in the hotel industry would be an advantage.
