Job Description Summary:
Direct the efforts, quality and timeliness of all aspects of the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general cashiering in accordance with local and corporate policies and procedures.
Job Description:
- Supervising Accounting generalist function - management of payroll, accounts payable, income audit & General cashiering.
- Labour management, conduct weekly labour meetings.
- Month-end process, including but not limited to preparation of financial statements, accruals and journal entries, maintain reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
- Review Accounts receivable Aging report & follow-up on issued.
- Residential accounting - Preparation of rental pool Journal at month end & financial statements.
- Assist the Assistant Director of Finance in special projects as required time to time.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent experience.
- Professional Accounting Certification is an added advantage
- Prior experience in Hotel / Resort Accounting.
- Fluency in English.
*The hotel will be responsible for organizing, applying and issuing your Work Permit, in addition to cover all related cost. Issuing of Visa is subjected to the approval of the Ministry of Employment of the Seychelles.
