The role of the Overnight Front Office Receptionist
The Overnight Front Desk Receptionist welcomes and registers hotel guests after standard business hours, explains the accommodations and amenities, and establishes a method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Audits all guest information from the day and creates a completed report for management by the next morning. Create and collect keys, post charges to bill accurately, maintain a bank and reconcile transactions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.
- Ability to handle all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism
- Solid communication, organization and leadership skills
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel; Opera a plus
- Strong interpersonal and team player skills
- Strong problem solving skills
