We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our Americas East Region Worldwide Sales team based in New York.  The Sales Coordinator provides administrative support, sales analytics, customer service and sales support and facilities management for our Sr. Regional Director of Sales and a dynamic team of global Account Directors. Our team is responsible for generating annual revenue for our growing portfolio of 121 hotels and resorts around the world. This team is focused on growing business from our existing global accounts, while targeting and developing new business from companies throughout the Northeast region. This position is an integral part of the team, and a strong contributor to our success. 

Our ideal candidate is a capable administrator with a passion for sales and customer service and must be highly organized, proactive, and solutions oriented. Above all, we are looking for a positive attitude and a collaborative team player.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Administrative:

  • Phone and email coverage, and general office management
  • Primary point of contact for building management, vendors and suppliers
  • Recruit, train and manage office interns and/or temporary staff
  • Problem-solve technology issues for the office and contact off-site support if needed, work with the Corporate MIS “Help Desk” team


Sales Support:

  • Provide sales support for Sr. Regional Director of Sales and Account Directors, covering Group, Corporate, Travel Industry and Wholesale segments
  • Handle incoming requests from clients and hotels, act as primary client contact when Account Directors are out of the office
  • Manage corporate RFP process annually, facilitate incoming group leads and manage pipeline, handle travel agent requests and communicate customer needs to hotels
  • Handle all logistics, planning and execution of regional customer events


Marketing Communications:

  • Generate monthly email marketing campaigns for all segments using Marketo
  • Prepare sales presentations and handle all logistics to facilitate monthly customer educational webinars
  • Analyze reports and conduct market research to support business development
  • Manage Surveys and ROI for all revenue generating events


Sales force Administrator:

  • Manage Salesforce CRM database, entering leads, contacts, activities, traces; create and maintain customer profiles
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports
  • Assume responsibility to enforce corporate standards, monitor all activity in Salesforce such as:  consistent account input, correct booking information, correct use of the system


Educational and Professional Requirements:

  • Completed undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum two years of working experience required
  • Proactive, organized and customer service-oriented
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent writing skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience creating marketing pieces, including presentations
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple projects/deadlines
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
  • Salesforce and/or other CRM database software experience preferred
