Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented Sommelier to join our F&B team. 

About You  

As somebody who shares a passion for excellence, you will be an essential member of the Food & Beverage team that strives to provide the Four Seasons experience to our guests. You will embark on a journey of crafting a world-class beverage program. In general, you will coordinate the hotel wine program in terms of its planning, organization, training, and upkeeping in order to enhance guest loyalty and sales, coordinate costs, maintain exemplary health and safety standards.  

About the job 

The stylish restaurant and bar CottoCrudo has a unique view on the Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge. CottoCrudo means “cooked and raw” and introduces a fine dining and lounge concept where classic service meets the innovative trends. 

Main Responsibilities and Duties: 

Advising, selling, and serving wine  

Ensuring a smooth beverage & wine service at all times  

Create wine pairings across all F&B outlets 

Helping to design the wine list  

Cellar organization and inventory  

Co-leading, training, and promoting the service team as well as conducting training and education sessions  

Helping to drive beverage revenue in the F&B outlets and maintaining beverage costs within budget  

Monitoring wine orders, stock, and par level  

Maintaining up-to-date wine list  

Reviewing and analyzing sales to ensure stock rotation and profitability remain within targets  

Maintain relationships with suppliers 

Qualifications in detail: 

Diploma in Hotel Management / Wine certification; 

3 to 5 years in a position of Sommelier or Wine Waiter; 

Strong food & beverage knowledge; 

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills; 

Passion for service; 

Willingness to work a flexible schedule and holidays; 

Fluent in English; 

Must have EU work authorization. 

What to Expect 

This position is offered for a define period of time of 12 months with a possible unlimited extension based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months.  

Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your manager and trainer.
