Job description

This 12-month program allows students and professionals the opportunity to train with the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Centre in Nashville, Tennessee; the largest, non-gaming hotel in the United States of America. As a Marriott owned and operated resort, this program will provide you with a great opportunity to kick-start your hospitality career whilst working for a globally recognised brand!

As a Rooms Division Program participant you will rotate through the Front Desk and Concierge departments, allowing you to maximize your exposure to daily hotel operations whilst working for a world-renowned resort.

We are currently offering 12-month paid Rooms Division Programs with the following start dates:

August 2018

Company housing is provided for the first 3-weeks of your program, on a pre-paid basis. After this, participants will be required to source their own housing for the remainder of the program.

Requirements

In order to be eligible for the J1 Visa required to participate on this program, you must be:

- Enrolled into a full time university studying Tourism, Hospitality or Events
or
-A recent graduate of Tourism, Hospitality or Events
or
- Have 5 years worth of full-time work experience (gained outside of the USA) in the tourism/hospitality field.

As well as being:

- 18 years or older at the time of application
- Available for a 12-month program
- Willing to pay the associated costs:

-- Program Fee = £2,250 GBP
-- US Embassy Appointment Fee = $160 USD
-- SEVIS Fee = $190 USD
-- Return flights to the USA
