We are currently looking for an experienced Head Chef Pastry to join our Pastry and Kitchen team. We offer a highly competitive salary and excellent company benefits.

Overview:

Working with the kitchen team and working closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to ensure that the Pastry Kitchen operates as a successful profit centre through planning, organising, directing and controlling. With new outlets planned and expansion within F&B we are looking for a highly experienced Pastry Chef with the experience to enhance the creativity within the department and transform the ‘patisserie’ throughout the resort. You will be working with the best equipment in superb facilities.

Accountabilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Pastry Chef to oversee the Pastry and Bakery production operation throughout the resort. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Chef who wants to work with the best produce while managing and developing the skills of the Pastry team. Creatively develop new products and create seasonal themes creating a truly special and unique guest experience.

The perfect candidate:

A recognised qualification in Culinary Pastry and Bakery with experience in either a 5* Hotel or a high end quality Pastry restaurant or outlet. Creative and highly organised with a career that demonstrates a good track record of progression and stability. A good knowledge of classical and modern pastries and techniques, creativity in developing new products and ability to develop the current dessert, pastry and bread products.
