About the job
Gleneagles, an iconic 850 acre country estate set beneath the beautiful Ochil Hills in Perthshire, is currently recruiting a Procurement Analyst to join our team.
Overview:
Working within the Procurement Team, you will assist the Procurement Director and Buyer with all analysis or stock levels, contracts and perform any administrative tasks.
Accountabilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to assist in the following tasks;
- Keep track of contract terms and renewals
- Research new and alternative products
- Assist team with ad hoc buying tasks
- Be the point of contact for the team
- Chase orders with suppliers
- Organise business travel
- Manage and coordinate diaries
- Create and manage spreadsheets for maintaining accurate stock levels
- Ensure communication is timely and effective
- Draft reports and presentations
The perfect candidate:
Previous experience within procurement or a similar role would be a distinct advantage, as well as an understanding of the procurement cycle.
Essential skills are excellent communication both verbal and written as well as a high level of experience within Excel and Word (including pivot tables, mail merge etc).
