We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Special Projects team. We offer a highly competitive salary and excellent company benefits.
An internationally recognised brand, Gleneagles is one of the world’s ultra-luxury resorts. We are devoted to delivering luxury and service and believe that this is achieved through our attention to detail and exceptional service. As Project Manager you will be working across the many outlets and products on the estate and joining a busy but productive part of the hotel. The variety of projects being developed varies from bedroom lead investments and F&B / ME spaces in the capital plan to lead investments to improve facilities and ultimately the guest experience.
Working within a small yet close team you will report directly to the Project Director. A self-starter with the ability to demonstrate skills and be comfortable with financial / analytical processing, including:-
• Benchmarking and cost analysis on past, present and future projects.
• Ability to understand, adapt and produce weekly cost report forecasts and cash flow documents across multiple projects.
• Tender evaluation and engagement in value engineering studies across projects throughout the life of the project.
• Keen eye for detail and acute awareness of risk in projects and how to best manage this.
There will be the opportunity to work across the estate and also lead project(s) from cradle to grave working closely with key internal and external stakeholders. Therefore an understanding of team dynamics as well as being able to deliver in a fast paced environment with multiple teams involved will be critical.
The perfect candidate:
Qualified to degree level with the relevant background in construction or Project Management/ Quantity Surveying. Experience in a Hotel or leisure field will be an advantage as the role is both fast paced and requires an understanding of hotel terminology and key features in the business.
