Located in Sunny Florida, this 156 room Oceanfront property was rated in 2019 as one of the "Top 30 resorts in Florida" by Conde Nast Traveler and won a Gold Badge Accolade by US News & World Report as one of the "Best Hotels in Ft. Lauderdale" in 2020. It has over 7000 Sq Ft of meeting and event space and 156 guest rooms including 100 suites, this is an ideal location to launch your career in hospitality.

There is an upscale signature restaurant, a lounge for more casual fare, an emporium for sweets, room service and of course many opportunities for Special Events and Banquets.

The hotel helps coordinate housing for interns within convenience walking distance of hotel. This property has an Oceanfront fine dining restaurant as well as 500 Ft of private beach, meeting and event space, a zero entry pool, lazy river, and new Spa.


To qualify for the J-1 Intern program, International students need to be currently enrolled in an accredited 4 year university OR be a recent graduate of an accredited university (start date must be within one year of graduation date). Internship candidates must be from outside of the United States, have a teamwork attitude and be proficient in English. International candidates need to possess enthusiasm for the hospitality field.

Hourly rate is a minimum of approximately $12.00 US/Hour and server positions are able to receive "gratuity" or tips which is customarily 15-20% of the bill.
Host Organization helps arrange housing within safe walking distance of hotel at an approximate cost of $500 US/Month. Housing in Florida is very difficult to arrange and this is a distinct advantage of Internship at this property.
