What will I be doing?

Hilton is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead Hilton Sales accounts. If you are looking for a position that provides responsibility for maintaining a large roster of accounts that have a high potential for growth, and you have a strong focus on account development to encourage revenue and market share growth, then this is the role for you.


More specifically, you will:
  • Own the account management and account development for a large roster of group sales (50 ) accounts that are geographically located in California. This position manages group leads for our US Based Hotels and will have a partner to manage International group leads
  • Ensure account qualification and compliance to account governance protocol
  • Collaborate with Hilton Sales Specialists and other valuable partners to provide total client solutions
  • Present the sales pitch to clients with complex needs across multiple areas of the business. You will provide an overall solutions approach
  • Build client accounts on a consistent basis by utilizing tried and true sales techniques to strengthen client relations
  • Utilize sales growth techniques to drive revenue and improve client total brand usage
  • Achieve revenue targets and sales competencies
  • Address objections by using a repositioning sales strategy or by successfully performing negotiations
  • Incorporate a personalized approach to the existing client acquisition sales methods to improve selling performance
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of sales principles and protocols to increase revenue per client while ensuring revenue targets are achieved
  • Apply standard methodologies in day-to-day client data management and maintain clients'' privacy using our Customer Relationship Management program
  • Communicate hotel promotions with a high degree of ease to support client needs
  • Analyze industry trends as well as competitor strengths and weaknesses. You will incorporate industry and client analyses into forecast and future client needs

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Five to eight (5-8) years of professional experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Travel 30% of the time

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor''s Degree
  • Three to five (3-5) years of direct sales experience
  • Experience in Delphi or similar property sales management system
  • Experience using Salesforce
