Job Summary

Food & Beverage and Kitchen Administrator

 

As a Food & Beverage and Kitchen Administrator, you are responsible for coordination and implementation of office procedures for the Food & Beverage and Kitchen Departments, frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks, and provide both clerical and administrative support to operations of all Food & Beverage and Kitchen Departments to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.


What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage and Kitchen Administrator, you are responsible for coordination and implementation of office procedures for the Food & Beverage and Kitchen Departments, frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks, and provide both clerical and administrative support to operations of all Food & Beverage and Kitchen Departments to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

This position requires relevant skills such as IT, organisational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

•       Oversee the day to day administration of the F&B and Kitchen Departments.

•       Raise purchase orders, manage the receiving of goods and assist with regular stock takes.

•       Maintain accurate records of food costs to enable regular food flash reporting.

•       Maintain and oversee department training records.

•       Input department schedules onto the hotels payroll system

•       Assist the Executive Chef with menu development and costing

•       Maintain exceptional levels of customer service

•       Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

•       Previous F&B experience

•       Previous administration experience would be preferred

•       Excellent grooming standards

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
