A Sales Executive MICE cares for customer relationships and analyzes market trends/competitor activity to generate new future business for the hotel.
What will I be doing?
As a Sales Executive MICE, you would manage current and develop new customer relationships in the geographical markets assigned to you. You will also create a detailed plan based on the overall hotel strategy and goals, to implement in your markets. The main goal of this role is to generate demand from clients who are Meeting planners, Agencies and direct clients organizing conferences, events and incentives.
It is a largely self driven role, where goals are introduced to you and updated on a regular basis, and you are responsible for delivering them. Your own creativity, drive, persuasion skills and strategic thinking will come into play. Also keeping a proper record of your activities will be necessary to track progress.
You will work on property alongside colleagues working in the same role, but in different markets, and together with them and your manager, you will create strategic plans, seek and analyse relevant data, create initiatives, best practices and action plans, in order to reach a common goal. We are a well-oiled team and will make sure you have enough support on your journey.
In your job, you will spend a fair amount of time on the phone with your clients, assisting with email queries, but also traveling abroad to visit current and new clients and build stronger relationships. You would occasionally host clients on the weekends, attend social functions, and organize internal and client facing events. The key to your success will be in the relationships you build with our customer base, with internal clients and with colleagues in relevant departments, which turn the demand you generate into actual contracted business. And of course on the way you are able to present the destination, our properties, and yourself!
