Job Summary

Position Summary

The Learning Coordinator manages all of the logistics and administrative tasks necessary to ensure instructor-led and on-line training programs run successfully including LMS administration.  The Learning Coordinator will be responsible for event planning and execution of logistics for all instructor-led programs.  In addition, the Learning Coordinator will provide support for Virtual Instructor Led Training as needed.

What will I be doing?

The Learning Coordinator is responsible for all tasks related to the coordination and support of instructor-led training and virtual instructor -led programs.  This includes a high degree of customer service – in communication with participants, facilitators and client partners.  The Learning Coordinator is expected to develop proficiency with our Learning Management System – HU, and to use the system to effectively enable a seamless experience for all instructor-led training programs.  The Learning Coordinator will also manage all the materials associated with any course (which may include laptops).  Finally, the Learning Coordinator may in some cases facilitate programs, such as Orientation or Virtual Classroom Sessions, and will be given the opportunity to develop their presentation and delivery skills.  

The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who is forward thinking, not afraid to ask questions, and is comfortable working independently. They are flexible in their approach and eager to learn and grow.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous clerical/ administrative experience 
• Experience supporting multiple levels of management with projects
• Education to High School/ GED level  or equivalent  


Preferred Qualifications:

• Education to University level or equivalent
• Some experience within the Hospitality Industry  
• Involvement in event planning or logistics would be advantageous 
• Involvement delivering instructor-led curriculum
