About the role
Responsible for engaging with our guests from arrival to departure, you will respond to guest requests, inquiries and complaints as the main point of contact in the hotel, and maximise sales revenues by participating in up-selling and marketing programs.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will enjoy working as part of a close team on a rotating 7-day roster, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Welcome guests and complete Check-in and Check-out procedures using Hilton''s system OnQ
  • Manage guest requests, inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain current knowledge of daily VIP and special events, hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers
  • Maximise sales revenues through up-selling and marketing programs
  • Fluent in the English language in order to communicate professionally with guests and team members both in person and over the telephone
  • Computer literate – previous Property Management System experience desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and conflict
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Previous hotel reception experience and/or a Hospitality-related qualification is desirable
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service
