Job Summary

The Sales Executive- Outlets will  promote, sell and control the events from initial enquiry to contracting, to event order, predominately in Marble Bar, Zeta Bar and Glass Restaurant. You will be able to efficiently qualify and sell the Hotel and all outlets for conference / events and related accommodation requirements. You will maximise revenue by converting enquiries and up selling confirmed bookings.

You will be responsible for Sales, Conversion and Event Management within the Oulets, in particular, the following:
  • To be aware of the key revenue goals and targets of the outlets to focus all sales opportunities to achieving these goals;
  • To respond proactively to sales opportunities to effectively manage the leads;
  • To handle all incoming events leads professionally through all channels e.g. by phone and or online channels. Enquiries to be responded to within 3 hours and proposal to clients with 24 hours of proposal receipt, in accordance to Hilton best practice
  • To build relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their needs and requirements and provide solutions to match in order to convert the business
  • Effective diary management and selling strategies according to demand calendar and direction from Commercial Director, Assistant Director of Business Development and F&B Manager;
  • Maximise conversion of leads and bookings;
  • To actively promote the hotel facilities by entertaining clients and agents on site as necessary ;
  • Conducting tours of inspections (TOI) of the hotel with potential clients and menu tastings;
  • All duties and processes to be carried out in line with Hilton brand standards/guidelines e.g. Centre of Excellence;
  • Updating and maintaining accurate account profiles in the database systems e.g. Delphi FDC and RESPAK;
  • Collating market intelligence through both competitor visits and internet searches with an understanding and knowledge of our competitors strengths and weaknesses;
  • To develop successful customer partnerships. Maintain close relationships with VIP clients and their personal/executive assistants to secure repeat business;
  • To develop and maintain a broad range of product knowledge about the Hotel;
  • To deliver outstanding customer service whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained with all relevant departments within the Hotel;
  • Carry out constructive handovers between the client and Restaurant & Bars operation team/ Events operation team;
  • To organise and prioritise work in order to ensure guaranteed response times and deadlines are met;
  • To handle event management for all groups sizes and produce accurate banquet event orders with revenue forecasted correctly in all fields;
  • To ensure accurate and up to date customer information in Event booking system. Adhering and maintain systems best practices and standards;
  • To build relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their needs and requirements and provide solutions to match in order for a successful event;
  • To liaise, support and effectively look after organisers on site requirements. To ensure successful events and thus secure repeat business;
  • To ensure all deposits are received and paid in accordance to contract terms;
  • To ensure and finalise all events invoices are accurate and sent to client in a timely manner;
  • To ensure the work of outside contractors for specialised services and to ensure they adhere to all legal requirements in relation to good working practices;
  • To communicate effectively with all hotel departments to ensure the smooth running and success of all functions, including production of detailed function sheets and menus;
  • To conduct effective pre-conference meetings and post event meetings and calls;
  • Be present for all wine dinners and events 10 . In conjunction with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager, you are expected to organize and facilitate all aspects of the events, ensuring the event is run efficiently.
