What will I be doing?

The HR Insights & Analytics team operates as a shared service for all areas of HR, and other key partners across the organization, creating opportunities to consult and collaborate on unique projects. As the Analyst, HR Insights and Analytics, you will actively support reporting and analytics projects that measure the impact of our HR programs and highlight workforce trends. You will play a key role in progressing Hilton’s HR analytics capabilities and delivering executive-facing reporting products.

Due to the nature of the work involved, there is a high level of exposure to senior leadership. If you are passionate about data, have a natural curiosity, and are willing to learn then this could be the role for you.

More specifically, you will:

  • Execute standard reporting processes to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting products for senior leaders in and outside of HR
  • Partner with HR Digital and Finance teams to build and/or maintain data cleaning workflows and mapping files
  • Collaborate with key partners to support ad-hoc reporting requests and craft thoughtful data summaries
  • Design/maintain interactive and static dashboards of important metrics that are easy to digest and efficient to produce
  • Translate raw data sources into meaningful visualizations and insights to elevate finding and respond to partner questions using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies in our systems of record
  • Support monthly financial forecasting, financial readouts for HR leadership, and annual budget process

  • Project management skills with a high level of execution and ability to optimally balance multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to collaborate both within the HR analytics team and with our partners to effectively solve problems and stay on track towards accomplishing interpersonal goals
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • One (1) year of professional work experience or six (6) months of college internship experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Alteryx, and with financial reporting or the willingness to learn

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Proficiency in Tableau or Alteryx
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Two (2) years of professional work experience
  • One (1) year of reporting or data analysis experience
