Job Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  (other duties may be assigned)

  • Supervising front desk team members including scheduling, assigning work, leading pre-shift meetings and training and developing team members.
  • Maintaining front office procedures including guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, telephone operator services and reservations.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and resolving guest issues and complaints. Assisting team members in resolving more complicated guest issues and complaints.
  • Assisting with valet services and driving guest vehicles or hotel shuttle, as needed.
  • Taking on a lead role in the absence of the Front Office Manager.


Work Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One year or more of combined front desk and supervisory experience in hospitality or a related industry is required.
  • One year or more of experience with OnQ property management system is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Hilton Hotels experience is strongly preferred.


ABILITIES

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in typing and using computer software, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in writing and orally.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted to handle guest baggage - ability to lift greater than 50 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to be highly visible and interact with guests for the entirety of the shift.
