The Analytics team serves as internal consultants to key functions across the business, including Hilton’s brands, development, customer, marketing, digital, revenue, and sales organizations with specialized support for the executive leadership team. The team is fully integrated within the business functions to ensure close partnerships and to more effectively measure and drive company performance consisting of domain professionals who serve as strategic advisors to key partners.

Hilton has built an outstanding analytics organization connecting the ecosystem of data, technology, tools, techniques, people and processes. This innovative analytics function will drive advanced analytics and impactful insights to help drive Hilton’s performance.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Enterprise and Brand Analytics, you will be a key member of the Brand Analytics team, which supports all 18 global Hilton brands with analysis and reporting needs. The Brand Analytics team is embedded within the Brands organization, but it also works closely with the Enterprise Analytics team, which supports Hilton’s Executive Committee, Investor Relations, Commercial Services Leadership Team, and other leaders.

More specifically, you will:

  • Deeply integrate with the teams within the Brand organization to provide analytics that identify actionable insights
  • Conduct analysis to identify business opportunities for the Brands organization to improve performance. Analysis will rely heavily on skills with Tableau, MicroStrategy, Excel, SQL, and Alteryx
  • Develop presentations and reporting that succinctly present analysis to optimally lead change and performance improvement
  • Utilize Tableau to build standard reporting, dashboards, and metrics, ensuring alignment between the Brands and Commercial organizations For major data, reporting, and dashboarding projects, work closely with the data architecture and BI teams on requirements gathering through delivery
  • Support the Senior Manager of Enterprise & Brand Analytics and the Senior Director of Enterprise Analytics on additional initiatives and analysis as needed, including the Quarterly Business Review, which supports Hilton’s Executive Committee
  • Multitask (you’ll be working with eighteen (18) brands!) and compassionately prioritize, understanding the common threads among the brands, but also their unique differences

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3+) years of professional experience
  • Two (2+) years of work experience in an analytics function
  • Advanced user of Tableau, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • MA/MS Master’s Degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, or Finance
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry, preferably analytics
  • Hands-on experience using MicroStrategy and Alteryx
  • Knowledge of a scripting language like R or Python
