About the job
Hosco Talent Search is recruiting on behalf of a luxury company owning a high end collection of Chalets in the Swiss and French alps. Most of the Chalets are located in Gstaad thus the private chef will be based there most of the time. He will be requested to travel to other locations (Megeve, Saint Tropez etc..)
You must be passionate about good healthy food cook fresh, locally grown products, interested in gastronomy.
Your duties will include planning a varied menu, preparing and cooking meals, always ensuring that the food is served fresh and on time, manage stock and ensure the kitchen is kept clean at all times. Not only daily menus, you will also be requested to prepare cocktails & special dinners.
You must be able to work well under pressure, be passionate about healthy food, able to work under your own initiative, have knowledge of food safety and be extremely organised.
You need to be interested not only in cooking, but also house organisation, table service procedures, table decoration, flowers decoration etc. You will be not only a cook, but a allrounder who will organise and take responsibilities in different departments of the household.
You must be curious and flexible to travel

About you
Fluent in English, German and French a plus
A calm and easy going attitude in the kitchen.
A minimum of 2 years as a private chef or high level restaurants (at least as junior Sous-chef)
The flexibility to travel for the periods stated above.
The ability to cook to dinner party standard.
A very clean and organised approach to cooking.
You are discrete and trustworthy.
