About the internship:

The Commercial Department Cross-Training Internship will sit in the Commercial division of hosco and directly support our Market Research, Industry Relations Sales Development and Customer Success teams. Our rotation plan will enable you to gain experience in each core function, build business acumen and focus on teamwork while receiving continuous support and learning opportunities from our different commercial teams.

There are three departmental rotations throughout the six month internship.

Market Research: Responsible for gathering market intelligence for insights that can inform business decisions and support the Industry Relations Sales team examining the market conditions for potential sales.

Industry Relations Sales Development: Responsible for pro-active sales development of hospitality employers in regions globally. Employers can be any business unit or corporate account directly linked with the hospitality industry.

Customer Success: Responsible for providing ultimate client satisfaction through maximising total ROI to customers partnered with hosco.

Some of the responsibilities during each departmental rotation will include:

Market Research:
Source additional target prospects using a variety of sales tools outside of the database
Prioritise prospects enriching the database with contact, information and talking points
Assign the shortlist of prospects within your assigned territory and Sales Development Representative (SDR) agents

Industry Relations Sales:
Validate & prospect clients via phone calls based on the shortlisted leads rated by MR
Learn how we prepare & structure a Demo call to clients in order to present our Premium services (shadowing)
Learn how to use our CRM software (Salesforce) and how to create reports and dashboards
Support the Sales team with presentations and other “ad hoc” projects on how to improve the Sales funnel

Customer Success:
Interact with other departments in order to create official product presentations
Lead the daily Job Offer revision and some technical revisions in order to correctly set up our clients’ job offers
You will learn how to train a client through our platform and be in charge at some point of some potential re-trainings to our partners
Help the CS team to set on-site and online visits with clients and schools.


You are currently studying a Bachelors or Masters degree or online course and able to provide a an internship agreement
Can commit to an internship of 6 months, ideally full time (39 hours per week)
You have an analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
You are naturally curious and a strong willingness to learn
You are data driven
You are a great communicator and enjoy working in teams
You have a high level of English (spoken and written), any other language a plus!
You are eligible to work in the EU / Barcelona
