About the department:

The Hosco Marketing Performance team is made up of digital marketing specialists (SEO/ASO, CRM, Growth Marketing, Paid Media) with strong experience in UA and CRM/Engagement. The team works in collaboration with each division of Hosco to deliver results for B2B & B2C performance objectives.

Hosco is looking for a SEO Manager to join this talented team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic team based in our Barcelona office.

The candidate will be working alongside the Head of Performance Marketing to manage the SEO strategy to drive quality traffic, increase member acquisition & job applications for our clients’ job postings on Hosco.

Some of the responsibilities and tasks will include:


Plan, implement, analyze and improve all SEO activities in a high traffic international website.
Actively manage all on-page SEO, including taxonomy, site architecture, canonicalization, web crawlability and indexability, page speed, link-building, markup (schema.org), etc
Define, monitor, and analyze all available search KPIs and metrics to measure success and report on results.
Consistently track and assess competitors and identify competitive opportunities.
Analyze opportunities to increase rank for underperforming competitive pages and provide specific and actionable recommendations.
Work closely with the Tech/Product team to ensure Search best practices are properly implemented on newly and existing developed pages; ensure website navigation and coding best practices are properly implemented.
Work closely with Content team to drive search efforts in content creation (Hosco blog) and content programming.
Recommend changes to the website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positioning.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on SEO experience managing International SEO in a B2C/B2B company.
Experience in key analytics and SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screamingfrog, MOZ, Ahrefs etc.
You are comfortable working with developers and have a base knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
You are data-driven, analytical (strong Excel and/or Tableau skill required) and detail oriented.
Proven success utilizing analytics to support strategic recommendations and drive concrete action, i.e. conversion funnel improvements.
Proven ability to drive for results in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, presentational and writing skills.
Experience with Google for Jobs (or similar organic job aggregators) not mandatory but very nice to have.
Experience with ASO (App Store Optimization) not mandatory but very nice to have.
