Your OBJECTIVE will be to support the preparation of dishes and maintenance of the kitchen, following the procedures established by the head chef.

The FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES to be carried out will be:

- Making dishes.

- Distribution, organization and cleaning of the kitchen.

- Realization of different operations with different tools.

- Make adjustments to the dishes to adapt them to the needs of the clients (intolerances, allergies, etc.).

- Replacement of the material used during the service.

- Recycling of waste in a correct and orderly manner

EXPERIENCE / TRAINING REQUIRED FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE POSITION

- Cooking or related course.

- No previous experience is necessary.

- High level of Spanish.

- Have the Food Handler Card updated.

- Know and comply with the basic rules of PRL.

About you

- Be studying Cooking or related.

- Be able to make an agreement with the school.

- High level of Spanish.

- Have a strong desire to learn.
  • Language required: Spanish. English is a plus

The company

Hotel España 4* is located on Calle Sant Pau, right in the historical heart of Barcelona, next to the Ramblas, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, La Boquería market… and many other places of interest, which make Barcelona one of Europe's most cosmopolitan cities.

Hotel España, considered a little jewel of Catalonian Modernism, was originally opened in 1859 with the name of Fonda de España and then went on to be refurbished by the celebrated Modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, in the early 20th Century, with the collaboration of Eusebi Arnau and Ramón Casas.

The restoration project that the hotel underwent in 2010 has brought back the spirit conceived by Domènech i Montaner. The modernist spaces have been refurbished to their original design, and at the same time the hotel has been equipped with the latest technology, design and comfort.
