The role will provide global operational support for Workday as well as ad-hoc participation on Workday projects and change requests. Operational activities include (but not limited to):
• Answering how-to queries from HR colleagues ensuring continuous Workday up skilling of the global HR community
• Analyze, troubleshoot Workday issues and drive resolution
• Coordinate and implement global data mass changes (salary review uploads, business restructures, etc)
• Updating Workday knowledge portal and documentation
• Participate in Workday project as business analyst being able to take coordination role for projects for low-middle c complexity
• Create custom reports
• General Workday configuration updates of existing functionality
• Coordinate Regional Workday Analyst to ensure that processes, procedures and guidelines with regards Workday management are met
• Audit Global Workday Data quality and coordinate resolution of problems found
• Ensure integrity of data between integrated systems

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the global HR Community by answering how to queries, advising and training on the use of Workday, resolving issues and ensuring the system and processes are used correctly. The role will act also as level 2 support for the People Advisor team for issues/queries escalated. This will provide continuous improvement of the usage of Workday and quality of its data
• Own, coordinate and implement configuration changes for existing functionality (business process steps, notifications, reports, absence plans,…). Responsibilities will comprise collecting requirements, configuring changes, coordinating testing activities and sign offs, ensuring the Change request process and documentation is adhered to. This will enable a better control and communication of the changes implemented in the system and will facilitate a quick turnaround. The role should also be able to challenge requests to ensure the most efficient configuration is done.
• Coordinate operational administrative requests such as data mass loads (salary review, bonus payout,…), organization restructures or global reporting requests. The role incumbent will take responsibility for ensuring that (1) requirements are clear and documented, (2) relevant stakeholders are managed and kept informed (3) required data is collated in the correct format and audited for integrity and quality (4) changes are made as per required timelines and quality. The role should also be able to challenge requests to ensure the most efficient solution is used.
• Coordinate Regional Workday Analyst to ensure that processes, procedures and guidelines with regards Workday management are met. Hold regular meetings to ensure the team is aligned and work as one team. This will allow the Workday team to provide follow the sun support
• Support the Senior Workday Lead during Workday Implementation projects by providing Business Analysis (requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, provide support for the creation of training materials,…). The activities will vary depending on the project but the role incumbent has the right combination of transferrable skills that allow for flexibility on tasks assignment.

Candidate profile

• Degree educated with HR background and
• Experience with Workday is highly desired but not essential. It is preferable strong core transferrable skills (as indicated below) than Workday experience
