Description
The Senior Analyst, Capital Markets will be responsible for assisting the Manager and Vice President of Capital Markets in liquidity management, forecasting, capital markets, and Hyatt’s notes receivable portfolio.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Play a lead role in Hyatt’s cash investment execution by assisting with capital deployment decisions and ensuring adequate sources of financing and liquidity
  • Ensure compliance with all unsecured debt covenants and help monitor guarantees
  • Manage Hyatt’s notes receivable portfolio and third party debt schedules
  • Play a lead role with Hyatt’s loyalty investment portfolio, by executing all reporting, performance and compliance requirements
  • Verify all foreign exchange rates used for all budgeting and forecasting purposes as well as monthly close
  • Assist with the execution and reporting for all of Hyatt’s Standby Letters of Credit
  • Complete all fair value calculations and compliance memos as needed
  • Provide support on debt transactions including bond issuances, revolver refinancing, quarterly dividends, share repurchase, secured debt and debt maturities when needed 
  • Help manage the interest expense annual guidance with the Financial Planning and Analysis group
  • Participate in additional projects as needed

Qualifications
Experience: 
  • 2-5 years of experience in Treasury, Capital Markets, or related area with relevant experience 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or other related concentrations 

Certificates
  • CFA or CTP credentials desired but not necessary

 

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Bloomberg experience desired

  • Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings clearly and effectively to others
  • Self-starter; ability to juggle and prioritize multiple deliverables 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment 
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
