Manage the implementation of Brand Standards for multiple managed, owned and/or franchised properties associated with new construction, renovations and potential conversion projects located in the Americas. This will include reviewing architectural drawings from the early stages of design development up until the final Construction Drawing submittals. Also, included in these reviews will be coordinating and tracking the submitted IT, F&B, and ID drawing reviews. This will require monitoring the design process of each individual project in order to ensure that product quality and design consistency exists across the collection of Hyatt Place and Hyatt House projects. This manager will have daily communication, and interaction with outside ownership groups, developers, architects, and interior design and will be responsible that the submitted projects meets or exceeds all Hyatt Select requirements. Additionally, the responsibility of the design of future renovations projects will fall under the review of this individual which may include potential PIP site visits as needs and requirements will focus on all areas within a hotel based upon scope, development and/or follow-up on established Product Improvement Plans (PIPs). Some travel may be required.
Facilitate being the single point of contact during the design stage by providing knowledgeable and reliable support for product and renovation information.
Be fully knowledgeable and conversant on established core-brand and multi-product line standards, specifications and all document and drawing associated with the Prototype Programs.
Provide the resource to determine and support hotel compliance with company specifications. Conduct site visits if needed with written documentation including PIPs for both existing and potential conversion projects.
Review construction and renovation drawings, F&B, submittals and specifications for compliance with Brand Standards and direction.
Maintain up to date knowledge of FF&E, construction related materials, fabrication and installation techniques, along with new products and processes to assure state of the art planning, review assistance and potential cost containment.
Assist in the development and/or enhancement of Program documents, sequencing and tracking each project’s adherence to their approved critical path.
Establish and maintain regular communications and interaction with the Architectural and Design Group, Projects Services Team, Operational Team, etc. on all current and pending conversion and renovation projects including reviewing design presentation and product selections.
Maintain solid working relationship with Owners, project managers, designers, suppliers, purchasing companies and contractors.
Provide project and technical support. Monitor specific assigned projects to help ensure timely completion and quickly identify potential delays/challenges.

6 years experience in the Hospitality industry and 3-5 years in related Design, Construction and Architecture
3 years experience working for or with a major Hotel Brand company
Bachelor’s degree in a related area.

Strong experience in Excel, Word, Adobe and PowerPoint
