Position Summary: The Lead Kitchen Gallery host is responsible for daily supervision of the gallery hosts, quality service and guest satisfaction.

  • Responsible for food and beverage inventory and maintaining proper inventory levels
  • Confirm all food product and supplies are ordered to ensure we have necessary items for regular service and banquet events
  • Responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and gallery
  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and operation of all service/kitchen equipment
  • Attend weekly banquet event meetings
  • Review all banquet event orders to ensure proper set-up/inventory/staff is in place
  • Supervise events and team members throughout service
  • Non-Essential functions:

  • Ensure all Gallery hosts deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service
  • Ensure Gallery Hosts are in proper uniform and adhere to the Company’s grooming standards
  • Ensure all brand standard training for the front office team is completed within the required time frame as dictated by the Brand
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Oversee daily shift operations
  • Resolve staff and customer concerns quickly and efficiently
  • Assist the front office manager with scheduling, training and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal (OSHA & DHEC) regulations
  • Adhere to hotel grooming and uniform standards
  • Perform any additional tasks requested by management
  • Requirements


    Qualifications:

    Education: High school diploma or GED

    Experience: Two (2) years related experience.

    Experience: Ability to operate a computer, phone and other office equipment.

    Hours required: Scheduled days and time vary based on hotel needs. May be required to work weekends.

    Ability to travel.

    Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

    Ability to provide friendly guest service with a smile.

    Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
