Job description

One of the best situated hotels in Birmingham City Centre, Hyatt Regency Birmingham is a modern hotel that enjoys a prime central location.  Our luxury hotel is just opposite the brand new Library of Birmingham and five minutes walk from the exclusive Mailbox and Bull Ring shopping centres, as well as Broad Street and Brindley Place.  The hotel features 319 luxury rooms and suites, our signature Aria Restaurant and Gentleman & Scholar Pub where guests can enjoy a selection of fine wines, local beers Champagne and cocktails, 10 meeting rooms and Amala Spa & Club for wellness/beauty treatments and pool and gym.

Based in the Accounts office you will report into the Director of Finance and be responsible for the day to day Information systems. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, Micros and Opera you will co-ordinate your day to ensure the IS function operates smoothly and efficiently.  There may be the need to be on call and assist remotely.  A proven track record of problem solving and the ability to work unsupervised is a must.Generally working Monday to Friday, office hours, although it may include some evenings and weekends.


You will be a graduate with a degree in an IT discipline. Confidentiality is key, as is a positive and professional approach. You will be assertive, yet personable, with effective communication skills and loads of common sense.  Able to prioritise and self manage your workload, you will be organised and structured and will maintain consistent performance under pressure.
