About The Position

For our new property Hyatt Regency Cape Town, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager who enjoys taking extra miles to ensure the success of the hotel and the department. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring an exciting, enjoyable, memorable dining experience for all guests, as well as managing the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit centre, in line with the outlet’s operating concept and the Hyatt Regency brand standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget and a commercially-minded approach to the financial success of the outlet. You enjoy working in a fast paced environment, are passionate about Food & Beverage, and a people-oriented person who exudes positive energy when connecting with colleagues and customers.

  • Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food and Beverage Service.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in similar position.
  • Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity and sustainability are a must.
  • Hotel pre-opening experience of great advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - We are looking for someone with a sincere passion for working with others and creating a difference in our workplace.
