About the job
You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International''s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations . The Purchasing Team Leader is responsible to assist the Purchasing Manager in the planning and procurement of material, including vendor development and administration of contracted services in accordance with the hotel policy and procedures.
The purchasing team leader will be responsible to ensure that are all the items requested are delivered on time and coordinated with all supporting departments. Cost control and best prices are negotiated.
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Purchasing Clerk, or as Team Leader in larger operation. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
Must be a local national.
Good command of English and Arabic language is a must.
Prior hotel experience is a must.
