The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for servicing and booking events. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to a team of Sales/Event Planning Managers in contract negotiations, Servicing, detailing groups and final billing process. Primary service efforts are in Banquet Food, Beverage and Setup that include menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services, hospitality amenities and special VIP requests. Duties also include but are not limited to hosting site inspections as needed, participate in event meetings, contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
The Event Sales Coordinator must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.
