To supervise the activities of swimmers by enforcing rules and regulations.
Respond quickly to all emergency situations in the water or on surrounding areas.
To warn swimmers of improper activities or hazards.
To be prepared at all times to rescue, resuscitate and give first-aid without further endangering the injured persons.
To rescue persons in distress or in danger of drowning when indicated and provide rescue breathing, CPR and First Aid.
To notify Recreation Manager, Front Office Assistant Manager and Security of any accidents, rescues, or problems that have arisen.
To report to the Recreation Manager any equipment that is in need of repair.
To answer inquiries pertaining to the use of the pool.
To clean the pool on daily basis in order to ensure water quality is good.
Conduct tests, as required, to determine water quality.
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
Possesses relative life saving certification.
