 Available Career Opportunity:


The Coordinator, Hotel Operations Support provides customer service support to hotel operators, IHG corporate employees and non-IHG partners globally.  Liaise incoming calls and e-mails to obtain information regarding general inquiries, including but not limited to, brand initiatives, hotel standards and operations, hotel emergency and customer service support to hotel operators and make sure these are channeled to the right team.  When needed, provide outbound calls and e-mails to hotel operators to communicate important IHG information, such as operating requirements and important deadlines.  



  •      Receive inbound telephone calls from the Americas region and e-mail from IHG hotels, colleagues and non-IHG contacts across all brands and regions.  Liaise Americas inquiries with the Hotel Operations Support Team in the said region.  

  •       Traffic incoming e-mails from internal IHG stakeholders, field based employees and liaise to resolve issues requiring a wide range of knowledge of IHG programs, promotions, revenue management systems (PERFORM and property management system), rate and inventory management, distribution, content and general hotel operations.  

  •      Contact key hotel personnel via outbound call or e-mail campaigns to communicate important and time sensitive information from the IHG corporate office when needed.  

  •       At the direction of the Senior Operations Manager, independently complete special projects pertaining to supporting our partner teams.  

  •       Regular electronic data management work.  Update IHG and partner databases (ORM/Growth and STR)

  •      Handle crisis management issues as they are reported to IHG; Provide general assistance to hotels during emergency situations, such as, but not limited to, hotel fires, natural disasters, guest and staff injuries or death, equipment outages, infrastructure issues, public relations, etc.  Escalate issues to the appropriate WARM Operations Manager when necessary and ensure internal functions are aware of the issues reported.
