We have a unique and exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Digital Marketing Executive.
This is a unique opportunity to cover multi brand and divisions within IHG growing portfolio, and is responsible for the online marketing activities associated with driving direct channels, third party affiliates and the hotels social media presence.
This role is in place to provide clear understanding of web analytics, and interpret data and to make strategic decisions related to that analysis.
The Role:
  • Weekly review calls and Monthly face to face strategy meetings with participating hotels
  • To manage all online activities for the hotels including all current and future microsites, non-branded websites to ensure all promotional programmes are managed, loaded and available with the appropriate lead in times; that all information is maintained and reflective of the image of the hotels and the individual outlets
  • To create, in partnership with outlet teams, annual marketing calendars by outlet. These calendars must be supported with the appropriate tools, including but not exclusively; target guest profiles, marketing guidelines by outlet with appropriate templates, operational activity implementation guides, activity performance tracking, and activity budget tool.
  • Monthly maintenance to be carried out on top / key external booking websites for each hotels segment ensuring content is accurate, up to date and highlights the unique selling points of the outlet and any current and future promotions
  • Ensure that all relevant social media pages for each hotel are up to date and that reviews / conversations are being followed and replied to
  • Develop short term and long term strategies for paid display campaigns on Facebook, Google, LinkedIn for both cluster and individual hotel targeting. Retargeting campaigns and affiliate programmes; for SEM campaigns and SEO
  • Develop monthly / quarterly reports on activities highlighting results and next steps by hotel / outlet
  • Measure the ROI of the online marketing spends across the cluster and by individual hotel / outlet
  • Develop, maintain and grow both cluster and individual hotel focused databases
  • Creation and distribution of eNewsletters to the associated databases
  • Provide performance updates and web analytics using appropriate web analytics tools
  • Develop and present reports on specific marketing initiatives and promotions
  • Monitor online performance and identify any risks, gaps and opportunities
  • Work with accredited external agencies to drive commercial performance
