Your day to day

Our Americas Corporate office, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is currently seeking a Strategy Manager.  As a member of the global strategy team, the Strategy Manager position will work closely with the VP Strategy and the Americas strategy team to deliver insightful and company-leading analyses of IHG, markets, and competitors required to evolve and drive execution of IHG''s global strategy.  This position will be required to use rigorous analytical and financial modeling skills to construct frameworks and business models to support the creation of long range plans, analyze key issues facing the company, and recommend answers to complex business questions that enable long-term revenue and profit growth.

What we need from you

Education


Bachelor''s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.  


Experience


6-8 years in progressive work experience in strategy, consultancy, or finance, or 2-4 years corporate level experience with exposure to a broad range of strategy issues. 


Technical Skills & Knowledge



  • Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to analyze markets, performance data, and business issues and draw insight/conclusions along with in depth financial modeling/analysis (DCF, NPV, accounting) experience, and basic finance principles.

  • Ability to work in global function with virtual network of members in Singapore and London. Understanding of hotel industry dynamics and economics desirable but not required.

  • Ability to travel globally (approximately 15%).
