As the Manager, you will be part of the team whose role is to identify and build upon the most suitable opportunities to grow faster than, and remain ahead of, our global competitors.
You will provide management support and analysis to develop, execute and track growth strategy across IHG. Your strategic focus will be a mix of global, regional and functional projects.
Responsibilities and accountabilities.
• Manage a mix of discrete projects providing ongoing strategic support with a team of both strategy and cross-functional team members.
• Create and structure the analytical support needed to deliver insightful analysis to answer business critical questions.
• Reporting to the Global Strategy Director you will drive content, output and stakeholder collateral.
• Work closely with the Global Strategy Director and senior stakeholders on crucial confidential projects such as market growth strategy, partnership and M&A opportunities, along with key customer-focused and brand-focused projects.
• Train, develop and grow a small team of Strategic Analysts at a variety of levels.
You will have at least 4 years’ experience in a strategic, consultancy, finance or relevant corporate role with exposure to a broad range of business issues.
With an MBA or Master’s Degree in business, strategy, finance or a relevant field, you will be keen to evidence your strategic thinking. You will be able to demonstrate where your ability to analyse markets, trends, performance etc. has lead to crucial decisions being taken at a senior corporate level.
You will be keen to move into a managerial role and whilst managerial experience is preferred it is not essential.
Having managed multiple projects with clients previously, you will want to handle multiple projects where you not only input but, with the support of your team, you deliver.
Comfortable leading and facilitating meetings you will enjoy presenting your findings, recommendations and complex analysis at a senior level.
