Description
Work as part of a team of analysts providing analytical support related to IHG global booking distribution channels, including Digital, Call Centers, Online Travel Agencies, and Global Distribution Systems. Use quantitative analysis to produce insights that directly lead to business growth. Leverage story telling capabilities to influence business leaders to take action based on data driven recommendations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
• Produce insightful analysis into performance of Digital, Call Centers, Online Travel Agencies, and Global Distribution System channels by connect the dots across IHG Channels
• Communicate channel performance outcomes by summarizing complex concepts and delivering presentations in an easy to understand manner to allow channel leaders to take action
• Provide an incubation environment for new complex performance analytics/reporting ideas to support business decisions
• Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for learning models or data analysis
• Use data mining software, forecasting models, and statistical/computational models to achieve analytical objectives such as maximizing revenue and channel mix
• Lead annual revenue planning for multibillion dollar global business
• Interact with regional units in Europe, Asia, and Greater China to understand market conditions and regional opportunities
