Job description

To be responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of resort
and rest nominated areas in accordance with acceptable horticulture practices.
 To define and supervise the daily team tasks.
 To be in constant communication with hotel managers by delivering each hotel
needs.
 To ensure that work is carried out according to company standards and delivered
on time.
 To be capable of operating a range of machinery.
 To ensure that all gardeners adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety; to ensure
that all tools, equipment and materials are used properly and that they are fit for
use and safe in condition and maintained.
 To ensure that supplies and materials are available for the team and ensure that
orders are requested and prepared for authorization.
 To constantly improve the general gardens image by keeping the departmental
cost low.
 To be proactive regarding plants sicknesses and to take corrective actions.

 To be prepared if and when required responding to emergency situations (winds,
snow events etc).
 To schedule all winter horticultural tasks in order to be ready for the resort
opening.
 To use horticultural methods friendly to the environment.
 To follow all policies and procedures set by the Sani Green Program of the
company.

Requirements

Enthusiasm, openness and a self-motivated personality eager to learn, develop
and be part of a continuously growing team
 Ability to cope under pressure and deliver excellent service results in a high-
paced luxury environment
 2- 3 years in similar position in a five-star hotel over 200 rooms
 Complaint handling, communication & negotiation skills, both oral and written.
 Flexible schedule required
