Your day to day

Responsibilities include development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan and reporting on effectiveness of the plan. Responsibilities also require direct and routine interaction with Regional Sales and Marketing office.

The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for all aspects of the Sales and Marketing activities and is responsible for the overall positioning of hotels within the region (3 InterContinental Hotels), brand communication and the development of customers for the property including :

-          Overseeing the planning and development of promotional strategies and marketing plans,

-          Management of the sales and marketing team

-          Reporting on effectiveness of the plan

For Rooms, Dining Outlets,  Events. 

In addition, they are responsible for

-          Yield strategies,

-          Digital strategy,

-          Market performance,

-          Budget & forecast meeting,

-          Business mix targets and strategies,

Strategies will include pricing, status, direct sales, market mix, marketing, and public relations. 

Candidates must have a dynamic leadership style, possessing excellent communication and decision making skills and an astute business acumen.

What we need from you

Desired Skills & Experience

-          Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

-          Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

-          Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

-          Good Communication and writing skills

-          Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/Digital hospitality profession

-          Must be French nationality

 

Qualifications:

-          Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field.

-          Minimum five years of sales and marketing in the luxury hotel industry

-          Experience with cluster role is better

-          Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems.

-          Command of the English language both written and verbal

-          Strong media, presentation and computer skills
