InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is looking for a part time Bell Attendant with an outgoing personality, who is dynamic, driven and wants to add value in an environment that will allow them to discover new and innovative ways of working within a global brand. You will assist our Front Office team to create a smooth guest arrival and departure experience, and act as welcome and farewell representative of the Resort. You will be responsible for managing guest arrivals and luggage; receiving and ensuring correct delivery of luggage to and from rooms and valet parking of cars. You will also assist Concierge with arranging tours, transportation, dinner bookings and activities for guests.
Reporting to the Chief Concierge, you will ensure sure our guests feel welcome each time they connect with InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort. You will act as the first point of contact when a guest arrives and respond promptly to guest requests. Performing various errands to ensure their needs, comfort and satisfaction are met and their stay is pleasant and memorable.
We are looking for someone with a genuine and friendly personality, who has a passion for delivering outstanding personalised service to our guests and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude, the ideal candidates will be energetic, friendly, organised and enjoy working in a team environment.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role and be passionate about offering every guest a warm welcome with friendly efficient service. As the face of the Resort, you will have a high standard of personal presentation. A strong customer service background is essential and a sound knowledge of the Gold Coast is preferred. All candidates must be available to work irregular shifts across a rotating seven day roster including holidays and weekends and be physically fit to lift heavy luggage and packages. Candidates must hold a valid drivers license and have Australian residency or a work visa enabling you to work for a minimum of 6 months.
