About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main purpose of this role is to:
Request training from superiors for any new tasks.
To instruct and demonstrate methods of production in your relevant department.
To assist in carrying out a daily inventory of fridges taking into account order requirements and prepare the following day's service.
To prepare and cook the food appropriate for the station you are allocated to in accordance with the standards and specifications laid out by the Head Chef.
To prepare food items according to the standard recipes.
To become familiar with all sections of the kitchen.
To always strive to improve your performance and do not hesitate to ask questions regarding the execution of your duties.
To participate in the building of an efficient team by taking an active interest in the day-to-day operation of the Department.
To be in charge of your allocated section.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Good level of English
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- NVQL3 food preparation or equivalent
