About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Manager to join our Telephones Department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
    • Ensure that all notice boards are updated daily (i.e. Duty Manager, Functions, VIP’s etc.)
    • Communicate closely with Guest Services to ensure that any special requests are taken care of efficiently (DND, Incognito, etc).
    • Listen consciously to the operator’s taking calls, observing their tone of voice and if necessary take corrective action.
    • Ensure that Wake up Calls is set correctly and punctually and that any failures are followed up.
    • Ensure that all faxes (especially for guests) are collected by the concierge and delivered immediately and they are recorded properly
    • Ensure that guest messages in Opera are typed correctly following the Jumeirah standard.
    • Ensure that all operators are aware of the resort’s fire, safety and emergency procedures.
    • Arrange for internal test calls are carried out on a regular basis as a tool to monitor the performance
    • Analyze the telephone Test Calls and CSI results and take appropriate action to correct any adverse results and/or trends.


    About you:


    The ideal candidates for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


    • College Diploma or equivalent from a Hospitality related field
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Listening Skills
    • Critical thinking skills
    • At least 1 year experience in a similar role
