    About the Job:
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Beach Club Manager to join one of Jumeirah’s pre-opening hotels. This luxurious beach club has a Beachfront setting with a private beach and beautiful ultramarine blue of Arabian Gulf. Beach club will feature restaurants which will be a destination on its own.
    The main duties and responsibilities of this role are as follow:
    • Daily operations of the beach club which include cleaning, set up, daily service, program and pricing, management of cabanas and tent rental.
    • Recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating all beach colleagues.
    • Establishing, implementing, maintaining and updating the inclement weather policy.
    • Inculcating a high degree of guest empathy and creating a proactive service culture as part of an ongoing program of the guest problem resolution.
    • Establish and utilize a beach guest history program in order to recognize, anticipate and service the needs of all repeat guests.
    • Attend the executive meetings in order to liaise with the other operating departments
    • Oversees the assignment of duties, responsibilities and sections to colleagues.
    • Observes and evaluates colleagues and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service are met
    • Mentors, develops and provides on-the-job training to all team members to strengthen their current performance and preparation for future advancement
    • Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation and expenditures stay within budget limitations
    • Inspects food and beverage preparation to maintain quality standards and hygiene regulations.
    • Relentlessly pursues ongoing improvement of menu offerings and service delivery.
    • Ensures all proper documentation is updated
    • Coordinates and organizes all administrative functions applicable to the Food and Beverage operation of the resort’s beach.
    • To coordinate and execute work assignments among the stations.
    • Review, improve and implement new job specifications and training requirements for all members of the beach operation’s team.
    • Assists in setting standard operation procedures and job descriptions for the department.
    • Assists in the coordination of special promotions and provides administrative support where necessary.
    • Communicate new or updated SOP manual documents to all staff in a timely manner, ensuring they have been understood and individually sign off on the same.
    • Control department forms and records according to the Jumeirah standards for Document Control.
    • Interacts with management and other departments within area of responsibility and develops working relationships.
    • Ensures the service and kitchen areas are clean, properly set up, sufficiently supplied and equipped.
    • Checks event orders in a timely manner, prior to function date, finalize service details and requirements no later than 3 days in advance with last minute changes forwarded to appropriate sections.
    • Prepares the Food and Beverage weekly forecasts.
    • Prepares and maintains standard operating procedures.
    • Conduct staff meetings on a daily basis with all key beach operation’s team members.
    • Maintains communication with kitchen and other related Food and Beverage departments.
    • Participates in public relation activities, sales calls, or other promotional activities designed at enhancing the image of the department.
    • Assists each team member in the planning and implementation of effective sales and promotional activities to ensure maximum revenues.
    Other Duties            
    • Demonstrates commitment to the development and implementation of the relevant individual IDP and KPI in order to properly communicate departmental vision and strategy.
    • Ensures customer requirements are determined & met.
    • Actively promotes an awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
    • Ensures that responsibilities and authorities are defined and communicated across the beach operations.
    • Ensures appropriate communication processes are established.
    • Determines the necessary competence for colleagues and provide training or other actions to satisfy these needs.
    • Ensures that colleagues are aware of the relevance and importance of their activities and how they contribute to the department objectives.
    • Provides constant coaching, counselling and discipline to colleagues to ensure their capability to meet the needs of the customer and the organization.
    • Ensures manning and competence level of selected colleagues is sufficient for the department to meet the needs of the organization and customer.
    • Attends to any other tasks defined by the EAM Food and Beverage or Assistant Director F&B
About you:
In order to be considered for this role will possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Food & Beverage responsible for managing a beach club, restaurant and bar operation in 5 star luxury hotel environments. You will also have to demonstrate the following:
  • Working understanding of Annual Budgets, OPEC and CAPEX expenses
  • Detailed oriented
  • Business acumen skills
