The e-Commerce Manager will report to Director of Revenue.
The candidate e-commerce Manager sits at the intersection between corporate Revenue Management, e-commerce, and global distribution strategies. This role helps manage overall activation of their property strategies in owned and third party electronic channels (Jumeirah.com, OTAs, meta search sites, search engines, and other e-commerce vehicles). This role will work on behalf of properties to increase revenue, grow market share and create a compelling experience that steers customers towards booking on our direct online channels. The Manager of e-commerce serves as a thought leader to their hotel, providing local, area, and country-wide insight to enhance their digital experience. To this end, he/she will be in touch with their properties on a regular basis to make sure they are fully activated and optimized on Jumeirah.com and OTAs. From time to time this role also provides e-commerce communication, training, education, reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
Carries out assignments as delegated by the DOFB, ensuring that all company and Hotel policies and procedures and minimum standards are adhered to, Assists in establishing standards of performance and job descriptions of service staff, Assists in the co-ordination of special promotions and provides administrative support necessary
Manage and oversee Jumeirah corporate e-commerce strategy at the property level.
E-activating online travel agencies channels to maximize online revenue and profitability.
Provide local market insights and recommendations to the hotel and corporate e-commerce, working closely with revenue team and corporate marketing organizations.
Responsible for OTA and meta search channels and merchandise/promotion offers via OTAs.
Manage day to day activities e-commerce priorities and strategy.
Proactively update content for Jumeirah Bali on OTAs and managing all content requests from agencies
Continually monitor and look for ways to improve functionality and the customer journey within jumeirah.com, putting forward recommendations and implementing any changes.
Working closely with Digital Marketing in executing online marketing campaigns, e.g. search engine marketing, email campaigns, mobile marketing, JET App and social media campaigns using analysis tools such as Coremetrics, Google ad words, Google analytics, Google trends, ensuring jumeirah.com is publicised appropriately using the best channels at the right times.
Work alongside with Digital Marketing and approved external agencies to create online/offline advertisements to raise Jumeirah Emirates Towers profile online and offline, mainly increase customer visits and drive revenue through jumeirah.com.
Track all the display and results in order to analyse them and improve performance.
Report regularly to the business on Trip Advisor Popularity Ranking.
Ongoing competitor checks as well as keeping up to date with the latest digital and e-commerce update.
Online business planning and support key strategic projects.
Indonesian Citizen with University Degree will be Essential 2 years’ experience in e-commerce, Revenue Management, Business Administration, or Digital role.
