A landmark property for the Emirate scheduled to open Q3 of 2018, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island offers 293 rooms and suites facing the sea, showcasing views from either a private balcony or garden access room, with an extended patio and outdoor space. This luxury beach front hotel embodies the beauty of the ocean - the stylish contemporary architecture is decorated with marine themed touches that bring the outside world to life. Home to eight restaurants and bars, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island has plenty of dining options including an all-day dining venue, two signature restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, a pool and beach bar and a sports lounge. Guests can also explore the 400 metre public beach and three swimming pools. Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island was developed under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s Projects Department.
 
About the Role:
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to join our Guest Relations department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
 
  • To prepare the daily VIP arrivals list to ensure the correct rooms are allocated for VIP guests depending on their demands and Guest History feedbacks
  • To check the rooms of all top VIP guests prior to their arrival at the hotel
  • To liaise with Transportation the airport pick-up timings to ensure all guests arriving with our Hotel cars are being met upon arrival by our Guest Relations Team
  • To liaise with Transportation for the airport drop off timings in order to ensure all VIP guests are escorted upon departure to our Hotel car
  • To ensure preparation of welcome letters for all VIP arrivals and placed in the rooms together with the amenities prior to their arrival.
  • To liaise with the Duty Manager regarding room allocations and room changes for VIP guests.
  • To coordinate with the Guest Services Executives to check the departure list for the following day – contact VIP guests to arrange airport transfers, if necessary.
  • To manage the Guest Relations team and ensure that the desk is manned  Desk when at all times.
  • To attend to the special requests made by VIP guests either prior to, during, or after their stay
  • To assist the Guest Services Executives in their duties, when required

About you:

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

 

  • University degree or Equivalent in a hospitality related field
  • At least 3-4 years experience in a Front Office based role.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written business English
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Highly organized
