About the job
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Manager to join the Human Resources team in Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain.
 
The main duties and responsibilities of this role

• Responsible for the HR budget
• Management of HR P&L’s
• Coordination of annual salary review
• To ensure at all times we are working within the HR budget
• To ensure all colleagues are paid correctly as per Jumeirah guidelines
• Ensure at all times HR best practise is maintained at JRSB
• Develop and drive JRSB HR Strategy in line with Regional HR direction and monitor its execution to ensure achievement of the objectives
• Maintain effective communication between SBU HR and Regional HR teams
• Ensure internal communication is well planned and coordinated so that colleagues receive relevant and timely messages
• Assist with the annual HR budget process and ensure P&L’s are well managed and communicated to the team
• Ensure the effective implementation of company wide Human Resources policies, procedures and practices in accordance with company objectives and Bahrain legislative requirements
• Ensure National Development initiatives are well communicated and fully supported
• Coordinate organizational change initiatives and ensure effective roll out
• Analyse and review HR statistics to identify trends to ensure attention can be directed to key issues and resources adjusted accordingly
• Ensure COS results are communicated, analysed and action plans are developed and reviewed on a regular basis to improve colleagues’ working and living conditions
• Assist with the talent management process in order to ensure it is effective
• Coach, mentor and support colleagues maintaining effective business relationships and encourage continuous growth and retention
• Advise and coach management on employee relations and performance management issues ensuring best practise is followed at all times
• Ensure at all times the disciplinary and grievance procedures of Jumeirah are followed by the management and HR team at JRSB
• Responsible for setting of KPI incentive schemes, monitoring the system and ensuring results are well communicated
• Work closely with the L&D and Business Excellence teams to ensure we are aligned in our objectives
• Ensure recruitment is timely, effective and professional. That all colleagues offered fit the job profile and have the full potential to succeed in their roles.
• Monitor our on-boarding process to ensure that our joiners have the required information prior to joining and are welcomed to the team in an efficient and friendly manner
• Provide leadership, direction and support to the HR colleagues, ensuring constructive feedback is given with guidance on improving and that there is a clear focus on their development
• Ensure all HR reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner
• Ensure the HR team is working in an organized and efficient manner
• Manage the HR team and office to ensure a professional service is given at all times to our colleagues
• Bring new ideas to the HR team and JRSB team to ensure we are constantly improving our service to our colleagues and therefore our guests.
• To maintain a high standard of colleague engagement and recognition at JRSB
• To carry out any administration tasks required in the job role
• To ensure Cascades is maintained well and provides an excellent facility to our colleagues
• To be hands on and assist the team where necessary

 

About you


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications

• Post Graduate education in related area
• CIPD Qualification
• Level A and B qualified in British Psychological Society  (or other psychometric/ability assessment qualification)
• Fluent in Arabic
• Minimum 4 years in a generalist HR role
• Minimum 2 years supervising or managing a team
• Middle East experience
