This luxury beach front hotel embodies the beauty of the ocean - the stylish contemporary architecture is decorated with marine themed touches that bring the outside world to life. Home to eight restaurants and bars, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island has plenty of dining options including an all-day dining venue, two signature restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar, a pool and beach bar and a sports lounge. Guests can also explore the 400 metre public beach and three swimming pools. Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island was developed under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s Projects Department.
 
About the Role:
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Night Manager to join our Front Office department in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
 
  • To ensure a smooth and efficient running of the Hotel night operation, ensuring that all hotel guests and visitors receive and optimum level of service and care at all times
  • To use discretion and tact when dealing with guest enquiries, problems or complaints in an efficient and professional manner without detriment to the Hotel and / or its reputation
  • To prepare the Front Office Night audit reports and statistics and distribute to the different Hotel departments as required
  • To prepare the Night Manager’s statistical report, including the competitor Hotel room occupancy / revenue statistics
  • To ensure that any major incident or new information are logged- in the Duty Manager log book
  • To directly supervise the Front Office night operation and staff
  • To ensure all guest complaints are handled promptly and efficiently
  • To supervise the Front Office night audit procedures ensuring that all pre-audit checks are carried out prior to Room & Tax being posted and the Front Office PMS being handed over to the Accounts Night Audit Team on time

About you:

 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

 

  • University degree or equivalent in a hospitality related field
  • Good communication skills
  • Microsoft Package Software Skills
  • Hotel Software Skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position in Front Office
