About the Job:
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager - Office/Administration to join the Cluster Sales - Beach team in Dubai Shared Services. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
  • Lead and develop a team of 4 Sales Co-ordinators.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in accordance to Jumeirah standards and the Jumeirah Quality Management System.
  • Adherence to all company systems used; Jumeirah Connect, Opera, Jumeirah Business Insight (JBI) and Delphi.
  • Maintains a full understanding of the hotel’s facilities, capacities, feasibility, history, services, pricing, Food and Beverage offerings, photography policies.
  • Handles general enquiries and incoming correspondence, distribution and filing of such information.
  • Collation of sales information for revenue, performance review, GSO and trading meetings.
  • Maintains with accuracy the monthly departmental P&L.
  • Co-ordinates all tasks related to the Commercial Health Check (Annual Sales Audit)
  • Conducts site inspection of the entire hotel including function rooms, suites and Food and Beverage areas to raise product knowledge of potential/existing clients when necessary.
  • Filing in the department is handled professionally, systematically and is clearly labelled.
  • Creates and communicates customized proposals, contracts, and FAM Trip GIS on time and as per the Jumeirah standards using clear and professional language.
  • Interaction with Key Account contacts as appropriate for the benefit of the client relationship.
  • Maintains knowledge of all Jumeirah properties for cross selling as well as the competitors’ Leisure Group offerings and tactical.
  • Prepares business trip arrangements for Sales Colleagues including Flights, Hotels, Transportation, Visa and other required preparation in accordance to the Jumeirah Policies and Procedures.
  • Prepares all necessary requirements that is required to be taken for business trips (i.e. brochures, giveaways, flyers, vouchers, briefing packs, etc.).
  • Ensures all stationary and gift items are fully stock in the office.
  • Process client entertainments, vouchers and complimentary rooms of Sales Colleagues when necessary.
  • Prepares Expense Report of Sales Colleagues upon return from business trip.
  • Handles projects assigned by the Sales leadership team
About you:
 
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • College Degree
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as Administrator or Coordinator
  • 5 star luxury hotel experience
  • Fluent in professional verbal and written English
  • Minimum experience on working with reports
  • Essential Microsoft office, Outlook
