About the Job:
An exciting position has arisen for a Bell Attendant to join us in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait. The main purpose of this role is to assist the Team Leader and Guest Service Executives, ensuring that all guest luggage, mails, deliveries, faxes are delivered in a timely, professional and efficient manner, by following the department’s processes, as well as ensuring that they are handled responsibly and with care.
To assist guest with any queries, to ensure smooth luggage handling.
To deal with any mail and package deliveries
To read and communicate any written correspondence on a daily basis and ensure proper handovers are carried out.
To co-ordinate the delivery and the collection of luggage to and from the guest suites.
To arrange transportation as requested by the guests, ensuring that (where applicable) charges are correctly raised and charged by the reception desk.
To arrange sightseeing tours and excursions as requested by the guests ensuring that charges are correctly raised and passed on to the reception desk for posting.
To book, reconfirm and amend airline tickets as requested by the guests
To ensure that all buggies are cleaned and well maintained.
To man the telephone switchboard in the absence of the telephone operator.
To valet park cars, ensuring the smooth flow of the traffic on the porch.
To collect all suite keys on departure together with the luggage
In order to be considered for this position, you must have at least 1 year experience in a similar position or completed cross training. Previous concierge/guest relations experience in hospitality industry is desirable. At least High school graduate or equivalent with high level of verbal and written English. Opera experience is an added advantage
